The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Sargodha was established in 1968 under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (Multan and Sargodha) Ordinance No. VII of 1968. It started its functions in different rented buildings in Satellite Town, Sargodha. It was shifted in the present campus in 1975. Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar districts falls within the jurisdiction of sargodha board. The main purpose of Sargodha board is to help the students at SSC and HSSC levels and conduct examinations pertaining to Intermediate Education, Secondary Education, Pakistani and Classical Languages and such other examinations as determined by the government. The board can also accord, refuse or withdraw recognition to the Educational Institutions at any level.
