BISE Mardan Board 9th Class Result 2018

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a self-governed body. It was established under ordinance ACT 1990. BISE Mardan has authority to administer its financial and executive matters. It can develop, re-arrange, reform and renew the administrative and financial methods of all the intermediate and secondary education institutes affiliated to it or that fall under the area under BISE Mardan governance.

District Mardan, District Swabi and District Nowshera fall under limits and territory of BISE Mardan’s authority. BISE Mardan has responsibility to: “affiliate institutions imparting SSC and HSSC education within Pakistan and abroad, prescribe courses of instructions for SSC and HSSC, ensure provision of requisite facilities in the affiliated institutions, hold exams, appoint examiners and supervisory staff and Institute measures to promote physical well being of students”.

The Ministry of Education Pakistan has ardent responsibility to control and manage education system in Mardan, where only half million children are enrolled in schools. Mardan is second most populous city of KPK after Peshawar. Out of total population of Mardan District, 36% of its population is under age of 5-16 years.

 
 

There are approximately 1,995 schools (Boys 1009 and Girls 906) and 8100 class-rooms. These schools are not enough for growing population of Mardan District. The average literacy rate of primary education i-e” Gross Enrolment Rate (GER) is 72% at primary while 42% at secondary level” (according to survey recorded by HUMQADAM INITIATIVE).

Gender un-equality in education and lack of sufficient educational facilities is also a problem in Mardan city and its premises. The need to take adequate measure to rule out illiteracy from populous areas like Mardan is of great importance. The KPK government and BISE Mardan has took many steps to develop education system in the district as well as increase enrollments of students in primary and secondary level.

No country can ever socially and economically prosper without education of its youth. According to population census conducted in 2017, total population of Mardan District was recorded 2,373,061. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education have also launched a complaint cell for public to register any difficulty and in-conveyance in education sector of Mardan District.

The execution of prescribed courses and instructions for SSC and HSSC is of Paramount importance. The syllabus can play an important role in growth of social education in Mardan and its premises. The female literacy level in the District of Mardan is alarmingly low with 18.38% only.

BISE Mardan has however started many new projects to facilitate parents and students through: OMR (Optical Mark Recognition system) for Computerized marking of Papers, sms system to alert Student and Supervisory Staff through this system and Online Enrolment and Registration to bring 100% accuracy in the data & prompt response on their doorstep.

Apart from that BISE Mardan also has responsibility to ensure quality of education in Mardan District meets the standards set by Ministry of education of Pakistan. The board also ascertains the accuracy of results and well- managed examinations system.
