BISE Abbottabad Board 9th Class Result 2018

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad or BISE Abbottabad came into being after separation from Peshawar Board in 1990 under the North West Frontier Province Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act 1990. BISE Abbotabad is an autonomous body, it has legislative authorization of developing, reforming, renewing, managing and regulating the administrative and financial matters of seconday and intermeditae educational institutes affiliated to it.

Five districts, namely Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram and Kohistan are included in jurisdiction of BISE Abbotabad. Population of 3.47 million and area comprising 17,194 square kilometres comes underneath the board. BISE Abbotabad has responsibility to conduct exams, register the enrolled students of affiliated institutes and ensure the completion of required facilities in its affiliated institutes. It is consisted of three separate conduct sections, a section (Conduct 1) to deal with matriculation results and examinations and a second section (Conduct 2) to deal with intermediate results and examinations. The third section is established to deal with printing of examination papers.

 
 

There are large numbers of private schools in the area; the enrollment of all 9th and 10th class students of these schools is under obligation of BISE Abbottabad. The Board has to ascertain fulfillment of these responsibilities: Formulate the conditions for admission to its Examinations to conclude the qualification of candidates and to admit them to such Examinations, Explicate courses of study for its Examinations, To specify conditions for validation of institutions, Approve, refuse or cancel recognition, completely or partially, Examining of institutions and arrange for examining of recognized institutions and call for inspection reports in respect of such institutions, Institute and award scholarships, medals and prizes in the specified manner and Bestow certificates and diplomas to persons who have passed its Examinations and to Remove such certificates and diplomas.

These boards are substitutes of Government for implementing educational policies in the areas under their authority. To perform such multiple responsibilities, these autonomous departments perform its functions under the Governor of the province as the Controlling authority.

The board has significant role in development of education system in its premises. Most importantly, conducting of examinations and controlling of examination centers. The results assessed by the board should be transparent and fair. For enabling unbiased system, the board has to execute various methods and procedures. The examination section of intermediate and matriculation keeps the papers ijn utter secrecy. The papers are sealed in coded boxes, which are only opened at the scheduled exam day at the examination centre.

Rechecking of papers option can be availed after the announcement of result. All results and datesheets acheduled by BISE Abbottabad are posted on its official website. Abbottabad has the second highest literacy rate in Pakistan, and First highest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as per survey done in 2007.The city is host to significant number of renowned higher education institutes and military training institutes. According to the Alif Ailaan Pakistan District Education Rankings 2014, Abbottabad is ranked 37 out of 146 districts in Pakistan in the quality of education (wiki source).
